How to log into APSU OneStop
There are three main ways of accessing APSU OneStop:
- Navigate to onestop.apsu.edu.
- Then click Login.
- Input your APSU username and password.
- Click Sign in.
- Alternatively, you can go to apsu.edu.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click OneStop Login.
- Alternatively, you can also go to apsu.edu and click on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right hand corner.
- Then, click A-Z Index.
- Scroll down to the O section and click OneStop (student, faculty and staff portal).

How to log into apsu onestop as a new student
- Navigate to the New student login page.
- In the “User Name” field enter your APSU user name provided in your acceptance letter.
- In the “Password” field enter Ap followed by your six-digit date of birth (Apmmddyy).
- Click on the “Login” button.
- After you log in, you will be prompted to change your password. You can set up your password manager profile in order to reset your password in the future.
- To set up your APSU email account within your APSU OneStop portal, follow these instructions:
- Previous Users: Your password will be the one you previously established.
- Within your APSU OneStop portal, click on the red student email button. This will bring up a Microsoft Office 365 initial account setup page.
- On this page enter your password which is Ap followed by the six digit of your date of birth (Apmmddyy). You will then be prompted to create a new password. The password must contain a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Create a new password and then click “Submit”
- You will then be asked for your new password.
- You will be asked to set your language and time zone. We recommend choosing “Central Time (US & Canada)” as the time zone.
- You can now view your email. Check this account periodically for important updates.

How to change your APSU password
For new students, your default password is Ap followed by your six-digit date of birth (such as Ap010203). For current and former students, by default, your APSU password will be Ap followed by your campus A number (such as ApA00123456).
This is the same password for the following, and most other APSU services: APSU email, APSU wireless, Computer lab/Library computer logins, D2L, Web Self-Service.
- Log into outlook.office365.com for students.
- Click the icon in the upper right-hand corner and click View account.
- Click Change Password on the right.
- Input your old password. Create a new password and then type it again to confirm. Click submit.
- If you see the following error message, your old password was entered incorrectly. Go back to step 4, making sure to input the old password correctly.
- If you see the following error message, your password is not complex enough. It needs to be at least 8 characters long, and must contain a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. It cannot match one of your previous 24 passwords.
How to reset your APSU password
- In any browser, navigate to passwordreset.microsoftonline.com.
- Enter your APSU email address and the characters in the picture. Click Next.
- Choose I forgot my password and click Next.
- Choose a verification method:
- Text
- Call
- If you choose Email my alternate email, click Email.
- Check your alternate email. You should see an email from Microsoft that contains your verification code.
- Input the verification code in the field and click Next.
- Input your new password twice and click Finish.
- You will see the following confirmation screen that your password has been reset successfully.
- You will receive an email confirmation from Microsoft that your password has been reset successfully.
- If you choose Text my mobile phone, input your mobile number in the field and click Text.
- You will receive a text message from Microsoft. Input the code in the field and click Next.
- Input your new password twice and click Finish.
- You will see the following confirmation screen that your password has been reset successfully.
- You will receive an email confirmation from Microsoft that your password has been reset successfully.
- If you chose Call my mobile phone, input your mobile number in the field and click Call.
- You will receive an automated call from Microsoft. Push the pound key (#) on your phone when prompted.
- Input your new password twice and click Finish.
- You will see the following confirmation screen that your password has been reset successfully.

How to unlock your APSU account
- In any browser, navigate to passwordreset.microsoftonline.com.
- Enter your APSU email address and the characters in the picture. Click Next.
- Choose I know my password, but still can’t sign in and click Next.
- Choose from the available options. You will need to verify your identity with 2 of the options you had previously set up.
- Once you have completed the first step, choose again from the remaining available options.
- Once you have completed both verification steps, you will see a confirmation that your account has been unlocked.
How do I confirm my classes in apsu onestop?
- In APSU OneStop, go to Web Self-Service.
- Click Student.
- Click Student Account.
- Click Confirm & Pay or Enroll in a Payment Plan.
- Choose the term you wish to confirm and click Submit.
- You will be shown your payment balance. If you are directed to a payment screen, you must pay the balance to be confirmed.
